Over twenty years ago the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) created a custom information system to track contracts, monitor costs and manage change orders. The system is owned and managed by the Construction Management Division (CMD). 


The WinTrak365 is a re-write application based on legacy WinTrak system. The WinTrak system manages most of the contract lifecycle. Users throughout the PANYNJ monitor the project’s progress as work proceeds until contract closeout. This includes those involved with the PANYNJ’s budget and financial operations, those affected by the projects managed by CMD, and those that are PANYNJ management personnel. Unexpected circumstances and events that affect the project schedule are entered into the system as soon as possible to keep contract status information accurate.
